This chair was born in 2015 as KOMA's first standard product.

The seat and top rail, which come into direct contact with the human body, are hand-carved, a KOMA specialty.
Combining this with a frame that has simple processability and structure, and achieving a balance between "one-of-a-kind" and "mass-produced" will result in a highly productive product that has never been seen before in KOMA.
In fact, this design had been completed many years before, but at the time I was the only craftsman who could finish the chairs, so it was impossible for me to mass-produce them alone. Even if I did mass-produce them, I would not have the capacity to hold inventory or the sales power to sell them.
There were many hurdles, and I couldn't take the first step.
However, it was each of KOMA's colleagues who solved these problems one by one.
Those who practiced hard and acquired skills, those who covered inventory risk with sales from other jobs, and those who made an effort to communicate and sell well.
This chair helped KOMA realize that creating a good product is not just about individual skill or creativity, but also about steadily improving the environment together with colleagues, and it gave us the impetus to start working as a team.
