If a chair is considered the smallest living space, then a sofa is somewhere between a room and a chair.

The inspiration for designing the isola sofa came from the desire to spend the whole day on the sofa, sleeping, eating, drinking beer, and occasionally reading a book, leading a lazy life.

I drew sketches to ensure that the chair would be comfortable in any position, whether sitting flat out in front, sitting sideways with your legs stretched out, leaning back, or sleeping with your legs stretched out, and I ended up with a rounded design.

In addition, the large and small cushions can be easily removed and moved, allowing for flexibility in using them as pillows or to place under elbows or feet, and are easy to maintain, such as by washing.

The left and right armrests are asymmetrically divided into a large table where you can eat and a small table where you can place books and glasses.

With the concept of "a personal and free space to spend your holidays lazily," we designed each area, from sleeping to eating, one by one, and the result was something like an island floating in the ocean.
