I found a beautiful cork with a very intense grain in the warehouse, and made it into a vessel, which also served as practice for using a four-way plane. I didn't start with a specific shape in mind, but rather tried to create a shape that would bring out the cork's natural beauty as much as possible.

[Precautions for use]
・This product is finished with a special glass paint.
It can also be used as tableware as it complies with the Food Sanitation Act standards.
Since it is not completely waterproof, please wash it and dry it as soon as possible after use.
Storing wet items on the surface will damage the feel and may cause stains, deformation, or cracks.

[About maintenance]
- If dirt or dust adheres to the product, wipe it off quickly with a dry cloth or a tightly wrung-out cloth.

・If you are using it as tableware, please do not use it with strongly pigmented foods such as curry, as it will easily stain.
After use, wash it as soon as possible and wipe off any moisture.

-If you use it for a long time, the coating will gradually thin and stains will become more likely to appear.
If you use sandpaper to remove paint and stains, and then repaint with the special glass paint "MOKUTO", you can use it in a condition close to when you first purchased it.

・Small scratches, dents, ring marks, etc. may be able to be restored using sandpaper or an iron. If you start to notice any issues with the appearance, please feel free to contact us. We also regularly hold free maintenance workshops at KOMAshop (announced on social media).
