Kurosanza leather is made from domestically-produced Japanese Black Wagyu cattle, combining the ancient Japanese techniques of tanning and lacquering, resulting in a leather that shines like countless tiny diamonds scattered throughout. This is why it has been nicknamed the "black diamond of leather." Each piece is handmade by a craftsman, and it is resistant to friction, making it a top-quality product in Japan that is also practical, having been used in martial arts equipment during the Sengoku period, and was even used in the armor of generals.
