Walnut, one of the world's three most precious woods, has a deep, rich brown base with a subtle gradation of various shades, and with age, its color develops a lustrous finish, resulting in a serene, luxurious appearance. This treasure chest is simply finished using the traditional kumiki technique of "Koine Oire Kumitsuji." Images are for illustrative purposes only. The Ultrasuede used in the interior has a unique texture reminiscent of high-quality suede and a soft, smooth feel. It is an easy-to-maintain artificial leather that is highly resistant to wear, stains, and water, making it suitable for use as a luxury interior material in European cars.
□Finishing/painting
Polishing with a plane and sandpaper brings out the grain and brings out the beauty of the wood to the fullest. By sealing the surface before oil painting, you can achieve an amazingly smooth texture that is less likely to develop ring stains.
*We do not use urethane paint or coloring as this would diminish the beauty and texture of the wood.
□Hidden hinge
There are no hinges visible on the back of the box when it is closed.
The inside of the box is lined, so the metal fittings are not visible from any angle, and the sleek design of the box and the beauty of the wood grain are not compromised.

Italian calfskin is characterized by its vibrant color and supple texture. It is finished with a full grain finish, without removing any of the grain from the hide, allowing you to enjoy the leather's natural, vibrant appearance.
