[Precautions for use]
-This product has an oil and wax finish.
Placing wet items on the surface will ruin the feel and may cause stains, deformation, or cracks.

[About maintenance]
- If dirt or dust adheres to the product, wipe it off quickly with a dry cloth or a tightly wrung-out cloth.
- If used for a long time, the surface may dry out and lose its luster.
If you apply wax to it about once every six months, just like you would to any other piece of furniture, the wood's texture will improve with use, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.

*Wax can be purchased from our online shop or in-store, but please read the precautions carefully before use. Always soak cloths, sponges, etc. that have wax on them thoroughly in water before disposing of them (if left as is, there is a risk of spontaneous combustion).

・Small scratches, dents, ring marks, etc. may be able to be restored using sandpaper or an iron. If you start to notice any issues with the appearance, please feel free to contact us. We also regularly hold free maintenance workshops at KOMAshop (announced on social media).

[Takahashi Kokoro Profile]
Furniture maker

He studied manufacturing at university and joined KOMA.
He works hard every day with a strong character and keen attention to detail.

[Young people's works]
KOMA continues to encourage its young employees to "create their own work every month." The company purchases the work, adds it to their salary, and sells it, which we believe is a sustainable way to develop human resources.
We aim to be a group of craftsmen where each individual has their own originality.
