This is a simple butter case made by hollowing out a single piece of wood.

The bottom has rounded corners, making it easy to lift and take out of the refrigerator. The inner corners are rounded to prevent butter from accumulating, allowing you to use up all the butter comfortably.

This is a masterpiece that will turn your daily breakfast into a fulfilling experience.

[Precautions for use]

・This product has an oil and wax finish. Washing it with water will damage the texture and may cause stains, deformation, or cracks. As a general rule, please refrain from using it as tableware. As with furniture, if moisture gets on the product, immediately wipe it off with a dry cloth. (Do not soak it when washing.)

When placing sweets or other items on the tray, oils and other substances may cause stains, so we recommend using a sheet of wax paper underneath.

・Do not use in microwaves, dishwashers or ovens.

・Do not leave the product in direct sunlight, in direct air conditioning, near a fire, etc. This may cause warping, cracking, stains, etc.

[About maintenance]

- If dirt or dust adheres to the product, wipe it off quickly with a dry cloth or a tightly wrung-out cloth.

- If used for a long time, the surface may dry out and lose its luster.

If you apply wax to it about once every six months, just like you would to any other piece of furniture, the wood's texture will improve with use, and you can enjoy the changes that occur over time.

*Wax can be purchased from our online shop or in-store, but please read the precautions carefully before use. Always soak cloths, sponges, etc. that have wax on them thoroughly in water before disposing of them (if left as is, there is a risk of spontaneous combustion).

・Small scratches, dents, ring marks, etc. may be able to be restored using sandpaper or an iron. If you start to notice any issues with the appearance, please feel free to contact us. We also regularly hold free maintenance workshops at KOMAshop (announced on social media).

[Young people's works]

KOMA continues to encourage its young employees to "create their own artwork every month." The company purchases the artwork and adds it to their salary. We believe that selling the artwork is a sustainable way to develop human resources.

We aim to be a group of craftsmen where each individual has their own originality.
