Cherry wood is one of the finest woods, and its greatest feature is that it changes color more than other woods, from a pale orange color to a deep, glossy amber color that becomes more refined over time.
This treasure chest has been simply finished using the "Kone Oire Kumitsuji" technique, one of the joinery techniques that has been passed down through the generations.
The Ultrasuede used on the interior has a unique texture reminiscent of high-quality suede and a soft, smooth feel. It is an easy-to-maintain artificial leather that is highly resistant to wear, stains, and water, making it suitable for use as a luxury interior material in European cars.

There are no hinges visible on the back of the box when it is closed.
The inside of the box is lined, so the metal fittings are not visible from any angle, and the sleek design of the box and the beauty of the wood grain are not compromised.
