About cocoda chair
The cocoda chair is a masterpiece that embodies KOMA's concept of "creating products that meet the quality and beauty of one-of-a-kind works."
Its beautiful form, which pursues functional beauty, was created by Master Matsuoka, who used Japanese hand tools such as planes and swords to carve it out.
The chairs are crafted with passion, and although they are made of hard wood, they feel soft, allowing you to sit comfortably for long periods of time in any position, whether you're eating with your back straight or leaning back with your legs crossed and reading a book.
For those who want a cocoda chair but don't know which one to choose, I would like to explain about the cocoda chair this time.
①About height types
We offer two types: "standard type" and "low type."

Both have the same seat height of SH (Seat Height) 420, but the AH (Arm Height) and H (Height) are different.
Originally, only the standard type was available, but the low type was created in response to a request for a chair with arms that could fit under a dining table.
When the standard type is placed on the table
It cannot be stored under a table as the arm will hit the bottom of the table.

Although it takes up space as it cannot be stored, you can still fully enjoy the beauty of the cocoda chair.

We offer three types of seats: wood seats, fabric seats, and leather seats.
Wood seat
The seat has been carefully carved by a craftsman using a plane, reading the grain of each piece of wood.
You'll be amazed at how comfortable it is when you sit down. It gently conforms to your body and doesn't feel stiff.
This is KOMA's most popular seat.
We also offer a separate seat for the solid wood seat. Use it to keep warm during the cold season or to add color to your room. The back has a non-slip surface, so you can stand up without it moving.
fabric seat
The seat is made of a firm cushion material covered with fabric.
We offer a variety of fabrics, including Ultrasuede® and Kvadrat, so you can choose the one that best suits the atmosphere of your room. We recommend this chair for those who prefer a cushioned seat for long periods of sitting.

The seat is made of firm cushion material and covered in genuine leather, creating a luxurious and modern atmosphere.

③About size options
We also offer the "mini cocoda chair," which is a slightly smaller version of the Cocoda chair, while retaining its beauty. This is recommended for those who love the comfort of the Cocoda chair but find it too large for their table.

④About the types of tree species

It is a beautiful wood with pale grain and a glossy surface. The color changes from pale pink to darker under the influence of ultraviolet light, eventually turning into a reddish brown that is almost amber.
