くりかえしやってきた事と言えばやっぱ家具づくりに関わる事。修行を始めた時、いくつかの決め事をつくった。その一つが、1日１０枚アイデアスケッチを描くという事。なんとなくぼんやり考えた。今まで１５年、椅子だけで１万脚くらい作ったなぁ。そんで５００種類くらい作ったなぁ。図面を描くのはその５倍。５枚描いても実際に造るのはそのうち１枚あるかないか。そうすると図面2500枚。１枚の図面を描くに至には、アイデアスケッチ２０枚〜２５枚は描く。そうすると大体５５０００枚。５５０００枚 ÷ １５年 ＝ ３６６６枚／１年３６６６枚 ÷ ３６５日 ＝ １０枚／１日ぴったり１日１０枚になる。よくも飽きずにやってるなぁと思う。が、くりかえしの威力はスゴい。自由自在に椅子が創れるようになった。今のkomaにはそれぞれ分野で期待出来るスゲエ子達がそろってる。楽しみでしょうがないっす。 What I have been repeating are relevant to manufacture furnitures. When I started training, I made several rules. One of them is drawing 10 idea sketches per day. I just feel like to do it. 15 years since then, I have made at least about 10,000 chairs. I have made around 500 kinds of chairs. 5 times of schematic plans are required, in other words, among 5 plans what I really made into productions would be one or less. Then, schematic plans are 2,500 in total. In order to make one schematic plan, I need to draw 20 to 25 idea sketches. Then, idea sketches are roughly 55,000 in total, 55,000 / 15 years = 3,666 per annum 3,666 / 365 = 10 per day It turned out to be 10 idea sketches per day. I would be a bit surprised to realize I have not become tiered of repeating it. Anyway, repeating has extremely strong power. I have become able to make any chairs I would like to make.
